  • Sm. cluster broccoli
  • 3/4 lg. red Spanish onion
  • 1/3 c. sunflower seeds
  • 6 slices bacon
DRESSING:
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Miracle Whip
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
BROCCOLI SLAW RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Fry bacon; cool and crumble. Chop cabbage and broccoli and red onion and mix together with sunflower seeds and crushed bacon. Mix sugar, Miracle Whip and vinegar and mix all together shortly before serving. The broccoli slaw recipe is ready to serves 8-10 persons. Enjoy !

  • 1 bag (3 oz.) Snack Ramen Oriental Noodle Soup (Oriental flavor)
  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 6 tbsp. sugar
  • 6 tbsp. vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. chopped green onions may also be added
BROCCOLI SLAW RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Place shredded broccoli into bowl with onions. Crush oriental noodles and add to salad. Mix oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, and flavor packet (from soup mix).
Right before serving pour dressing over salad and toss to coat. The broccoli slaw recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it !.

BROCCOLI SLAW INGREDIENTS
  • 3 c. broccoli stems
  • 1 med. green pepper
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 1 med. tomato
  • Salt, pepper
  • French Dressing
BROCCOLI SLAW INSTRUCTIONS
Peel and grate broccoli stems. Finely chop green pepper, onion and tomato; combine. Stir in salt and pepper and French dressing. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill several hours to blend flavors. Stir before serving.

FRENCH DRESSING:
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 tbsp. catsup
  • Dash garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • Dash of hot pepper sauce
Blend in covered blender at medium speed until thoroughly blended. Store in refrigerator. Stir before using. The broccoli slaw recipe is ready..enjoy the broccoli slaw !!

RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 12- to 16-ounce bag shredded broccoli slaw or 1 large bunch broccoli (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1/4 cup low-fat or nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 8-ounce can low-sodium sliced water chestnuts, rinsed and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red onion (1/2 medium)
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, turning frequently, until crisp, 5 to 8 minutes. (Alternatively, microwave on High for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes). Drain bacon on paper towels. Chop coarsely.

If using whole broccoli, trim about 3 inches off the stems. Chop the rest of broccoli into 1/4-inch pieces.

Whisk yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add water chestnuts, onion, bacon and broccoli; toss to coat. Chill until serving time. The broccoli slaw recipe is ready to serve....enjoy the appetizer !
